"I'm praying for you."

I find myself using these four little words quite often and many times I am guilty of not following through with my promise. It's not intential. I just get so wrapped up in the busyness of life that many times it just slips my mind.

How do you keep good with your word?

I used to do that. But Deby asked me one day..."When you say I'll pray for you, do you really remember?" At that instant I realized that I don't remember to pray for people when I tell them I will...so what I do now is that when I tell people that I'll pray for them...I stop everything I'm doing at that moment and I start praying for that person.

I agree with Melissa and I also remember learning to have a small file box with index cards and list your prayer requests in there (could be alphabetical order), called your prayer box. Aburtomichelle's suggestion is a good and similar idea using a journal.
