Announcing the Winners

My apologies for not posting the results yesterday as promised. Unfortunately, Lucas had to take our laptop in to get repaired and I didn't have access to it until this morning. However there is good news.

As you can see from the little slot machine that Melody is the winner. CONGRATULATIONS! I guess God really wanted you to have this book. ;) Can't wait to hear how God worked in your heart through this. You'll be receiving your second copy of Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World shortly.

And since there were only two ladies that entered the giveaway, I figured I'd send something to both of you. Michael, you'll be receiving a complimentary book, Life Management for Busy Women, as well. It is actually written by one of my favorite Christian authors, Elizabeth George. I know you will make good use of it.

Congratulations to both of you ladies and thank you for being faithful "A Cup of Indy" readers.

P.S. - Stay tuned for our next drawing; it will be taking place in February.

Congratulations...

Ivett!!! You are the winner of the give-away.

Thank you to all of the ladies that entered our first give-away. The good news is that it won't be the last. Next month I'll be giving away another book and I'm taking suggestions starting now. Would you share with us some titles of your favorite books that have strengthened your faith or ministered to you.

I'll go first: I'm currently reading a few books at a time (as is my custom). One of those being His Needs, Her Needs: Building an Affair Proof Marriage by Willard E. Harley, Jr. I love the practical examples he uses in the book and how I am learning what my husbands greatest needs are and that I, (as his wife) have the privilege and unique opportunity to meet.

Although there is no replacement for our daily time spent in the word, I believe Christian books are a powerful tool meant to supplement our quiet time.

(P.S. - I am in no way, shape, or form endorsing the use of slot machines but this is the free random name picker I found online. I figured it was a lot easier and quicker than the old, picking a name out of a hat.)
