The Cross

Yesterday one of my students handed me this drawing. He is very special to me for many reasons (they all are) but this one has been my mission from God.

The first thing that stood out of the drawing was the cross in the center and the fact that it was surrounded by hearts. I asked him what it meant and his response in one word was, "God".

Every day I try to be that role model for my students and it's so awesome to hear every once in a while "Hey, you're doing a good job!" Eventhough he didn't say it in all those words, I could tell that God was using this student to tell me that the work I am doing in the classroom is having an eternal impact.

Lord, give me the wisdom, love and patience to continue to shine for Jesus.

Amazing! You are excellent at what you do and it's evident that you are meant to teach the little ones. Relish in the love of your student(s). And you are right, it sure does feel good when appreciation is shown!! Praise Him
